The problem is that a 4-day work week will come with a reduction in pay, because no company is going increase the hourly wage. They will squeeze and squeeze until the worker is dead, and then start on the kids. It is an endless cycle unless you cut off the head, which happens to be made up of executives and absent shareholders who care only for the money and not the depleting well it is hauled from.
